Administrators in at insolvency firm

Beleaguered insolvency group RSM Tenon faced its own collapse into administration today, and saw its operating businesses snapped up by rival Baker Tilly.

None of RSM's 2,300 staff at 34 offices nationwide – including those based at Stafford Court in Telford – are expected to lose their jobs in the deal.

It followed the collapse of talks with Baker Tilly about a possible takeover of the group.

RSM suspended trading in its shares on the stock market and called in administrators from Deloitte who promptly announced that Baker Tilly had bought the various trading entities.
