ZingZillas help Telford Shopping Centre celebrate its 40 years
Colourful creatures from children's TV swung on to the stage at Telford Shopping Centre's 40th anniversary celebrations.
The popular characters from CBeebies show the ZingZillas performed behind Marks & Spencer during the Bank Holiday birthday party.
And they were not the only animals to take over the town centre – families feasted their eyes on the creepy crawlies, meerkats and birds of prey on show at a mini exotic zoo.
Children's happy faces were transformed into their favourite or most fearsome animals by face painters and balloon modellers brought the creatures to life.
Entertaining shoppers were local bands The Making and M.A.D.I.S.O.N who will be warming up crowds at T-Live before McFly take to the stage. The Making is a four-piece indie rock band hailing from Newport and Telford, which has already shared the stage with names such as Razorlight, Hard Fi, The Wombats.
M.A.D.I.S.O.N is a four piece rock band which The Darkness's Justin Hawkins described as having a "great pro sound" after hearing them play.
Meanwhile Robert Plant's label M.A.S records have taken a keen interest and are now associates. Both bands will take to the stage at T-Live in the Telford Town Park Arena on Saturday, September 7.
