New-look Dawley Post Office opening hours extended
Shoppers in Telford will be able to get Post Office services seven days a week after a store refurbishment, it was revealed today.
The Post Office branch inside the Co-op store in Dawley will close for 10 days from October 15 for the refurbishment.
Once it reopens, Dawley Post Office will have one traditional screened serving position, two open plan counter positions and a Post Office serving point at the supermarket counter which will be open all the time the Co-op is open.
As a result, the High Street Post Office branch will open Monday to Saturday from 9am to 5.30pm, while the Post Office service point will be open from 7am to 8pm Monday to Saturday and 10am to 4pm on Sundays.
Post Office bosses say this means services will be available to customers 84 hours a week. The branch will be closed from Tuesday October 15 for the work, and will reopen on Friday October 25 at 1pm
