The man in the CCTV image was in the bar with two male companions on Saturday, August 31, at the time when it is believed the rucksack was taken.

Pc Darren Holmes, the investigating officer, said: "We would like to identify this man and are appealing for him, or for anyone who recognises him, to come forward.

"It is believed he was present at the time the rucksack was taken and therefore may have information which could assist the investigation."

The thief is thought to have taken the bag after going upstairs into a private area.
