Man injured in Bridgnorth crash

A man was taken to hospital after two vehicles crashed at a junction near Bridgnorth.

A lorry panel van and a car were involved in the accident at the junction of Barnsley Lane along the A458 near Six Ashes.

A man in his 30s was taken to Russells Hall Hospital, in Dudley, suffering from chest and neck injuries.

A female driver, who was in her 20s, was not injured following the collision just after 2pm on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, a car and a hedge cropper were in collision later in the afternoon on the A442, Bridgnorth, partially blocking the road for a short time from around 3.30pm. No injuries were reported.
