Members of Shropshire Theatre Organ Trust will mark the end of months of restoration work with a concert at The Buttermarket nightclub where the organ is now housed.

Retired music teacher Jean Martyn, who reached the final of Britain's Got Talent in 2011, will be playing at the venue tomorrow at 2pm, along with a number of other organists.

Tony Byrne, chairman of the Shropshire Theatre Organ Trust, said: "We are delighted that the new owners of The Buttermarket decided to retain the organ and incorporate it into their club."

Martin Monahan, the owner of The Buttermarket, said: "I would urge everyone to come out and support this fundraising concert and discover the unique wonders of this Wurlitzer in action."

Tickets are £6 and all the proceeds will be going to the trust's funds.

A range of hot drinks, cream teas and cakes will also be available.

Doors open for the audience at 1pm with the concert itself running from 2pm to 5.30pm.
