Man, 21, attacked outside Telford nightclub

A 21-year-old man suffered head injuries after being repeatedly struck with a heavy branch or stick during a fight outside a Telford nightclub.

The assault took place at a car park near to Pussycats in Wellington at around 4.15am yesterday. The man was today in a stable condition in hospital.

Three men were seen to run off towards the bottom end of Tan Bank in the direction of the YMCA.

They are all described as being white, while one is described as being aged around 20 and the other two as being 17 or 18 years old.

Chris Ammonds, of West Mercia Police, said: "One of the men had a bald head and the other two were described as having brown or mousey coloured hair."
