Work starts early to replace Welshpool pipes
A £250,000 plan to replace 300m of water pipes has been brought forward after a flurry of burst pipes and interruptions to supplies.

Severn Trent Water have now started work in Gungrog Road, in Welshpool, to improve the infrastructure in the area.
The work is expected to take four weeks to complete. Last month, some homes were temporarily without water and the hospital lost its supply twice in three days.
