Road near Whitchurch closed by lorry accident
A road in Shropshire had to be closed following an accident involving a lorry.
The lorry ended up on a verge following the accident which happened at about 10am on Wednesday on the B5476 Tilstock Road, near Whitchurch.
Police say no other vehicles were involved in the accident which caused the road to be blocked for a short time while the vehicle was recovered.
Richard Ewels, spokesman for West Mercia Police, said: "It happened just after 10am near the Horseshoes in Tilstock.
"It involved one vehicle, a Mercedes articulated lorry. It was damage only and there doesn't appear to have been any injuries.
"I don't know how it happened but the lorry ended up half on the road and half on the verge
"The road was closed for a short time while the lorry was being recovered."
