The post office in Dawley, which is situated inside the Co-op store in the High Street, has been closed for 10 days due to refurbishment.
The post office is equipped with one traditional screened serving position, two open-plan counter positions and a post office serving point at the supermarket counter.
As a result, the post office branch in High Street will open Monday to Saturday from 9am to 5.30pm, while the service point will be open from 7am to 8pm Monday to Saturday and 10am to 4pm on Sundays.
Post Office bosses say this means services will be available to customers 84 hours a week.
