Shropshire barn blaze may have been arson
Firefighters were called to tackle a barn fire in north Shropshire which was of "doubtful origin".
Firefighters from Ellesmere and Wem as well as an operational officer attended the blaze at a farm at Cockshutt.
The fire affected a single storey agricultural building and firefighters had to use breathing apparatus to tackle the blaze.
The crews stayed on site to dampen down after the blaze was extinguished. The fire was reported at about 11.10pm last night.
Nobody was in the building at the time and nobody was injured in the incident.
A fire investigation officer attended the scene and is compiling a report into the incident.
Police officers also attended the fire after receiving a report about the incident.
Oswestry Sergeant Lee Johnson said the fire was of "doubtful origin" and confirmed nobody was hurt.
