The Ghostly Gaslight event at Blists Hill

Blists Hill Victorian Town was illuminated in spectacular style for the annual Ghostly Gaslight event.

The event even brought the spirits out as school pupils helped transform the museum into an eerie place filled with ghosts, ghouls and monsters.

Technical Theatre students from New College Wellington also created a series of spooky shadows, which were projected on to the town's buildings.

A firework show in front of the old Brick and Tile works ended Saturday night's fun but entertainment will continue at the Gorge throughout the half term holidays.

Events include Wicked Wings family workshops at Enginuity until November 3, between 10.30am and 3.45pm, with children using a number of materials to make their own flappers. Tile decorating workshops will also be held at the Jackfield Tile Museum until November 1.
