A Blackberry Curve was the only thing taken from the house in James Way, Donnington, between 7pm and 9.45pm yesterday.

West Mercia Police spokesman Chris Ammonds said the thieves broke into the house by smashing a patio door window.

He said: "They carried out a thorough search, but it looks like they may have been disturbed by the occupant of the house returning home at 9.45pm because the only thing that appears to be missing is a black Blackberry Curve mobile phone."

Anyone with information should contact police as soon as possible on 101, quoting incident number 710S 041113.
