Today officers handed out notices and pulled some drivers over to see if they could help.

West Mercia Police spokesman Richard Ewels said: "It was part of the ongoing inquiries into the fatal on the A41. We had a number of police officers at the site."

Neighbours described Mr and Mrs Bennett, who were married for 61 years, as "a loving couple" who would "keep themselves to themselves".
