A 32-year-old man was arrested at the house in Wellsfield on suspicion of producing cannabis and possessing drugs with intent to supply.
Officers from Madeley local policing team and safer neighbourhood partnership obtained a warrant under the misuse of drugs act to search the property.
Sergeant Dave Braid, the investigating officer, said: "Cannabis is illegal to grow and possess and selling it can cause increases in localised crime as people need money to buy it. The way it is grown can also cause fire, due to the heat needed to produce it, and other safety concerns for people living at the address."
