No tarmac - so A49 in Shropshire stays shut
Motorists were caught up in delays after overnight roadworks on a busy Shropshire route failed to finish before this morning's rush hour – because the tarmac didn't arrive on time.

The A49 between B4368 at Craven Arms and the B4371 at Church Stretton was closed this morning in both directions.
Roadworks had been due to be completed by 6am. The road finally reopened around 8am.
