Road and train delays after level crossing barrier fault
Motorists and rail passengers on the Powys/Shropshire border faced rush hour delays today after a faulty level crossing barrier closed a main road.

Arriva Trains Wales said services between Welshpool and Shrewsbury were delayed by about 10 minutes from 7.25am because of a faulty barrier at Buttington Cross.
The road was closed between the A483 and the B4388 at Buttington.
