Painter and decorator Jimmy Brocklehurst has not been seen for four days.

The 59-year-old left his home in Queensway on Thursday saying he was going to the pub, but did not return. His family reported him missing on Friday evening.

Police say he has not been seen at any of the pubs he usually visits.

Mr Brocklehurst is approximately 5ft 8ins, of a large build and has grey to white hair. He has prominent tattoos on his arms; a naked lady on his right and a dagger on his left.

Inspector Tracy Ryan, who is leading the search for him, said: "Jimmy's family are very worried about him and are desperate to have him home. He has not been seen for two days despite being a well known face in Whitchurch"
