Matthew Burns, 22, of Bron y Buckley, Welshpool, and Amanda Chambers, 44, and Richard Chambers, 47, both of Clos Glyndwr, Newtown, appeared at Welshpool Magistrates Court on Tuesday.

All three are charged with perverting the course of justice in that they formed a letter to a crown court claiming a false job offer to get crown court bail conditions varied in relation to a curfew removal on October 7.

Neither of the three entered pleas and the case was adjourned to Mold Crown Court for a preliminary hearing on January 3.

All three were given unconditional bail and no further details were released.
