The break-in happened just off the A442 in Long Lane, near Wellington.
Thieves broke into the stables by sawing off a coded padlock. They then searched the stables and tack room before stealing three saddles and four bridles.
Police believe that the thieves would have made their way from the road, which is quite a distance from the stables, on foot.
It is also believed that at least two people were involved in the burglary due to the size and weight of the saddles and bridles.
The theft happened between 7.30pm last night and 6am today. Anyone with information should contact police in Telford on 101, quoting 70S 030114.
