Dog rescued from well by fire crews

A dog had to be rescued by fire crews after falling 15m (59ft) down a well close to the Coalport Sewerage Treatment works.

Fire crews from Tweedale and a rescue tender from Wellington was called to the scene just before 12.30pm this afternoon.
The crews used specialist equipment to free the dog just before 2pm.
