X Factor finalist due to perform in Telford
X Factor finalist Lucy Spraggan will perform on stage at a concert in Telford at an event next week.
Spraggan, who appeared on the ITV show in 2012, will be the headline act at Live @ The Place, which will be held at Oakengates Theatre on February 8. Other acts confirmed include Juliette Ashby and Intensi-T.
Tickets are on salefor the event and organisers are urging people to book in advance.
Spraggan withdrew from the show due to illness but has since signed a deal with Columbia Records. She became the first contestant in the show's history to score a top 40 single and album before the live show aired with her independently released album 'Room at the Top'.
Debbie King, theatre manager, said: "I'm looking forward to bring this great mix of music to Telford. For anyone interested in a variety of music, this is the event to come to."Lucy is a young star who has worked hard to make a name for herself, as are both of the other acts and I'd urge people to come along and check them out.
"I think the event will be great for anyone, but especially those with a keen interest in music, perhaps even those looking for inspiration to kick-start their own musical careers."
