Residents are being asked to get involved in putting together a "vital" action plan for the coming years.

Bishop's Castle Town Council is inviting households, organisations and businesses to say what they value about the town, how it could be improved and what their concerns are for the future in the light of continuing local authority cuts.

Town Mayor Karen Bavastock said: "An invitation to comment has already been delivered to every household in the town. But we know there are others living in the surrounding area who see Bishop's Castle as their town who we haven't yet been able to reach.

"We would really like them to tell us what they feel about our town's future."

For an invitation or more details , call Cllr Anne-Marie Jackson on (01588) 638566 or Cllr Evelyn Bowles on (01588) 638851.
