Gymophobics, which offers workouts just for women has moved to a new premises at Wellington station.

The gym relocated from New Street in the town on Monday and is already celebrating a successful week, where a number of new members have joined.

Sarah Van Straaten said moving the gym was a new way to encourage people to live a healthier life.

Gym instructor Sarah said: "It's going very well, we've had lots of interest, lots of the community have been popping in to see what's going on.

"The idea behind the move is to get the idea across to people that they can work out and live a healthier lifestyle."

Gymophobics offers a specialist workout for women, which involves a 30-minute circuit on various machines. Sarah said the workout was ideal for those who use the train to commute to places of work.

She said: "Because it's 30 minutes, it's easy to fit in before a day's work.

"On the old premises, we didn't have that many using it on the way to work, but we've had a lot of interest this week.

"We've had lots of ladies sign up who want to do a workout before they get the train."
