Former teacher faces sex charges
A 90-year-old former schoolteacher from Tenbury Wells has been charged by police on 15 counts of indecently assaulting young boys.
The charges against Marcus Marcussen date back more than 40 years, West Midlands Police said.
Marcussen, a former PE teacher, is due to appear at Birmingham Magistrates Court on February 20.
He faces 15 charges of indecent assault and two counts of gross indecency against boys under 16 between 1973 and 1978.
Marcussen worked at Ilmington Road Comprehensive School in Weoley Castle, Birmingham, for 45 years.
The school was demolished in 1985.
Detective Constable Mick Clark, from West Midlands Police's public protection unit, urged anyone with information which could aid the investigation to contact officers on the non-emergency 101 number.
"Any information will be treated with the utmost confidentiality," he added.
