Heavy snow today fell across Shropshire after temperatures plummeted overnight.

Towns and villages across the area including Oswestry and Church Stretton experienced a covering of snow from about 8am today.

In Oswestry, the snow stopped before lunchtime and by 12noon the roads and pavements were clear.
