Lee Stevens, 28, was given six months to hand over the money when he appeared at Birmingham Crown Court yesterday. At a Proceeds of Crime Act hearing the court was told Stevens' benefit from being involved in the supply of cocaine, heroin and crack was said to have been £125,000. However, a financial investigation revealed Stevens, of Bridgwood, Brookside, only had realisable assets of £1,960.

The confiscation hearings of two other Telford men jailed in the drugs conspiracy were adjourned for further financial investigation. Paul Stonehouse, 37, of Culmington, Stirchley, and Stephen Carless, 53, of Station Road, Donnington, both serving sentences of 56 months, will be in court again on March 21.
