Wem man find £65 for cocaine in pocket
Magistrates have fined a man £65 after he was found with cocaine in his pocket at Telford's main police station.

Nicholas William Stokes had been at Malinsgate Police Station to be questioned over a motoring matter when the discovery was made, Telford Magistrates Court heard yesterday.
The court was told about a gramme of the drug, worth about £40, was found on Stokes at the station last December and it was only for his personal use. Stokes, of Soulton Road, Wem, admitted possessing a Class A drug.
The 30-year-old was ordered to pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs in addition to the fine and magistrates also ordered the confiscation and forfeiture of the drug.
