Quantities of cannabis and £2,300 in cash were discovered when Dharmesh Rana, of Chockleys Meadow, Leegomery, was stopped by police in August, 2012.

While Rana was still on bail his BMW was stopped again as he drove to Woodside to do a deal, Shrewsbury Crown Court heard. Passing sentence today, Judge Peter Barrie said : "This will be your last opportunity, so don't waste it."

Rana, who admitted the offence at an earlier hearing, was given 12 months in prison, suspended for two years, and made subject of a drug rehabilitation programme. He must complete 200 hours unpaid work and pay £200 costs and £2,375 cash found by police has been confiscated.
