Chocolate-tasting for Newport Fairtrade event

A not-for-profit market stall in Newport is celebrating Fairtrade Fortnight by offering free chocolate tasting.

The Making a Difference stall in Newport Indoor Market stocks fairly traded everyday goods including tea, coffee and chocolate. It also sells of novelty items, including tape measures, sequin purses and bracelets.

To celebrate Fairtrade Fortnight, which started yesterday and runs until March 9, the stall will be allowing customers to sample some different chocolates this Friday and the following Friday, March 7. The stall is run by volunteers and all profits go to charities, including Macmillan Cancer Research Christian Aid, Newport Lions and The Children's Society.
