Sup up as Whitchurch club's ale festival starts
Sports fans and beer drinkers can indulge their passions at a real ale festival which raises money for a Shropshire cricket club.

Whitchurch Cricket Club is hosting the beer festival until Sunday to raise funds for improved facilities. Barman Dave Ricketts said profits would go towards the cost of making ground improvements at the Heath Road club.
He said: "We have a full range of beers including many from Shawbury, Rowton and Whitchurch. The brewer in Rowton, Telford, has produced a one-off vanilla and vanilla chocolate brew. And a local cider producer from Whitchurch has donated two new ciders with the proceeds from those going to the charity Soldiers Off The Street."
The event runs from noon until 11pm.
