[gallery] About 10 people have been questioned following a major police operation in Telford.
Police carried out a series of raids throughout the day and into the evening in Telford in a crackdown on crime – dubbed Operation Wave.
Yesterday's operation targeted suspected drug dealers and users.
Six people were arrested and four volunteered themselves for interview.
Among the arrests were: in Wellington, two men, aged 28 and 30 were arrested for posession of a controlled drug; three men, aged 33, 21 and 19, were arrested on the A41 in Newport.
Battering rams were used to force entry into a number of properties where criminal activity was suspected.
There was also a 6am raid at a house in Woodrows, Woodside, where hundreds of counterfeit DVDs, computer games and CDs were found.
The operation involved a number of other agencies, including the Vehicle and Operator Services Agency, DVLA, HMRC and Trading Standards.
The operations began in the early hours of the morning and went on until 10pm last night .
Inspector Paul Arnold heads up the safer neighbourhood team in south Telford.
He said: "It was a proper, multi-agency operation."
Police were also parked on the side of roads using automatic vehicle registration technology to find cars which do not have tax or insurance or are wanted by the police.
The day started at the crack of dawn as police found a "significant number" of DVDs bagged and ready to sell in Woodside.
Inspector Arnold said: "We have executed a warrant at the same address before. It was a good result."
Next on the agenda was a drugs raid in Orient Court, Madeley, where a ram was used to enter the flat.
A 20-year-old woman received a formal warning after a small amount of cannabis was found.
And officers then headed to The Oval, in Newport, where again a small amount of cannabis was discovered.
There were also two drug warrants executed in Wellington.
Inspector Arnold said the raids sent out an important message to those involved in crime.
