Yobs on rampage damage newly-planted saplings near Newport
Hundreds of newly planted trees were damaged as a dozen yobs went on a 20-minute rampage in a Shropshire village.

Students at Harper Adams University and residents helped to plant the strip of new woodland at Bayley Hills, Edgmond, near Newport, just a fortnight ago.
But yobs attacked the saplings by kicking them in half.
A witness said he had earlier seen a middle-aged man handing out torches to the youths, who then repeatedly stamped on the trees.
Police today appealed for help to trace the gang, which struck on Friday night. Witnesses should contact police on 101.
