The Spring Art Show takes place at Delbury Hall, Diddlebury near Craven Arms and will raise funds for Cancer Research, The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and St Peter's Church, Diddlebury, through the sale of artworks.

One of the many artists taking part in the big weekend is Susie Cawley who lives near Ludlow.

Susie often finds her floral subjects in her country garden and she is making the most of early springtime blooms by capturing them for others to also enjoy.

Susie studied at Bourneville School of Art, then Loughborough University of the Arts and worked as a textile designer in London for many years as well as teaching design.

Now, from her south Shropshire home, she paints in watercolours and oils and loves the colour and surface of paint and the rhythms and pattern of plants and landscapes.

There will be a mix of painters, photographers, sculptors and ceramicists, some locally known and some working and exhibiting in London and other parts of the country. They have all agreed to donate a percentage of sales towards the three charities and prices for the rich display of works available at the show will range from £50 to £5000.

The spring event is open on Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 5pm both days.
