Shropshire school still seeking new head teacher

A primary school is still searching for a replacement after its long-standing headteacher abruptly resigned at the start of this year.

Bavita Williams announced she was stepping down as headteacher of Cleobury Mortimer Primary School at the start of term and left the school in the middle of last month. Councillor Ann Hartley, Shropshire Council cabinet member for children's services, said: "The head resigned and finished at the school on February 14 to explore a new challenge."
