Judge Robin Onions summed up the case at Shrewsbury Crown Court yesterday before sending the jury out to consider its verdict at 3pm.
And about an hour and a half later Judge Onions sent the jury home and instructed members to return to the court on Friday to continue their deliberations at 10am.
Tomas Paplauskas, 29, of no fixed address, and Andrius Grikpedis, 34, of Turreff Avenue, Donnington, Telford, both deny two counts of rape.
It is alleged the 19-year-old victim was attacked in the early hours of July 27 after a night out at the Thomas Botfield pub and later Vox nightclub in the town centre.
