The bikers left Meole Brace in Shrewsbury at 11.30am, travelling to the RAF Museum at Cosford via the A5, M54 and A41.

Other motorists were warned of congestion along the 23-mile route.

Emergency planning officer for the Highways Agency, Frank Bird said: "We ask for people's understanding as it's a great cause. The event raises funds for the Midlands Air Ambulance and the museum."

The event included displays and exhibitions at RAF Cosford from some of the best known manufacturers in the UK as well as groups and organisations that promote road safety.
