Firm to take on staff after sales rise 400 pc
A company is taking on new staff after seeing sales rise by 400 per cent over the past 12 months, it was revealed today.
Renewable energy company Organic Energy, based in Welshpool in Mid Wales, has already taken on new staff and is creating two posts following a period of record-breaking sales.
The pioneering company is one of the forerunners of low carbon heating technology in Britain. It is expanding across the UK, and is recruiting two regional development managers to cover the north and south of the country.
Managing director of Organic Energy, Andy Boroughs has been working with boiler experts, OkoFEN for more than 10 years.
Mr Boroughs said recent sales were 400 per cent up on the previous year.
He said: "We are a thriving company, which has been well-established for a number of years, supplying wood pellet boilers to all four corners of the UK and to Ireland.
"However, in the last year, the combination of innovation in alternative heating technology, plus Government incentives, has seen demand for our boilers grow.
"The Renewable Heat Incentive for commercial and industrial premises, has had an impact as both private sector companies and public sector organisations have seen the financial benefit of installing our systems."
The incentive for domestic installations was launched on April 9 and the Government wants to see 750,000 renewable heat installations completed by 2020.
