The child was trapped inside a locked car in Alma Close in Oswestry, for about 20 minutes yesterday.

His parents called the fire service at about 9.25am, who rescued the boy by using small gear to get into the car.

The sheep was found in a brook just off the A41 on the outskirts of Newport shortly after 7pm on Saturday.

Three fire crews were called and firefighters were able to rescue the sheep within an hour.
