Final call for Welshpool book
The final call has gone out for any entertainers past or present from Mid Wales to come forward to take part in a new book.
Alan Crowe wants people from the Welshpool area who have entertained in any way to contact him so he can include their story in his new book, Entertaining MId Wales and Beyond.
Mr Crowe said the book will chronicle the many and varied entertainers that have emerged from or work out of Mid Wales.
He said: "DJs, solo singers, groups, choirs, vocal harmony quartets and trios, classical singers, children's entertainers and any others are asked to get in touch. Also family members of deceased people that were entertainers are also welcome.
"A Facebook page of the same name as the book's title has been set up and members of the public are invited to like it."
