The event at Aston on Clun, near Craven Arms, was held in the village hall in Broome Road and showcased the best in local produce.

Among the produce on offer was fruit, cider, cakes, chutney, pork, lamb, organic vegetables, beer, wine and ice cream.

The fair was held in association with the Shropshire Hills Local Food Group and, in addition to the village hall, stalls were also set up in a marquee on the green.

The local food group is made up of community shops at Aston on Clun, Lydbury North, Wigmore, Wistanstow and Yarpole.

It is being supported by the Plunkett Foundation and the Esmee Fairburn Foundation.

There were about 30 food stalls on show at the event.
