Experts have been viewing the site in Ellesmere from the air.

Images taken appear to show the outline of a development which may date back as far as the Iron Age.

They believe they may have stumbled upon a site where an ancient enclosure was once positioned.

A dig is set to take place next week in order to try and discover more about the area's past.
