The A519 near Newport was closed after the accident at Woodseaves.
The lorry ended up on its side at around 11.55am on Wednesday, between Woodseaves and Norbury.
Faye Casey, a spokeswoman for Staffordshire Police, said: "The road was not blocked, traffic could get past and there were no injuries."
The road was later closed between the A41 at the Forton Island in Newport and the B5405 to allow for recovery of the lorry, but was reopened by 3.30pm.
