Burglars prised open a metal garage door, breaking its electric motor to get into the property in Chiltern Gardens.

The thieves searched the garage before stealing a number of items.

Police said that although the garage connects to the house through an internal door it did not look like the burglars tried to get into the home.

The items stolen include an RAC jet wash pressure washer worth around £100 and a large Makita tool bag containing tools with a value of around £1,000.

The theft took place between 8pm on May 27 and 7am on May 29.

Officers investigating this burglary want to hear from anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in the area around that time, or anyone who may know where the stolen items can now be found.

Anyone with information should call police in Telford on 101, quoting incident number 0643S 290514, or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
