Testing time at beauty pageant for Shropshire teenager Renee
A teenager from Wellington was today taking part in the Miss England beauty pageant – but not before she sat two A-level exams.

Shropshire Renee Farquharson, who attends Newport Girls High School, sat two papers today at Torquay Girls High School.
Arrangements had to be made after it emerged the final of Miss England in the Devon town would clash with her exams.
The 18-year-old has been in Torquay since Saturday, competing against 60 other competitors from across the UK.
