Kayleigh Marie Rooney was nearly twice the legal drink drive limit when she was stopped by police in the early hours of June 8, Telford Magistrates Court heard.
Mrs Abigail Hall, prosecuting, said officers could smell alcohol on her breath.
A test revealed 67 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood. The legal limit is 35.
Rooney, of Stafford Terrace, Oakengates, Telford, admitted drink driving. Representing herself, she said it was "out of character and not something I would normally do".
As well as the driving ban, magistrates also fined Rooney £345 and ordered her to pay court costs of £85 and a Government victim surcharge of £35.
