Quarry drowning victim is named
Police have identified the body of a man recovered from a lake at a former quarry on the Shropshire border.

The body of 19-year-old Alec Lightfoot, from Ashley, near Market Drayton, was recovered yesterday from a lake in the old quarry site off Lordsley Lane, Ashley, after friends raised the alarm on Wednesday night at 6.30pm.
Mr Lightfoot, of Esselia Avenue, was reportedly at the site with friends when the accident happened.
The death is not being treated as suspicious and a report will be prepared for HM Coroner.
