The blaze in Wellington started just after 11.20pm last night.
The owners of the greenhouse in Haygate Road called the fire brigade when they spotted flames.
A crew from Wellington used a hose reel jet to put out the fire by 11.45pm.
Watch manager Stephen Godfrey said: "The occupiers were aware of the fire and they called us.
"We turned up and put it out within minutes. It wasn't a big fire. The greenhouse and one fence panel was damaged.
"We don't think it was a deliberate ignition but possibly caused by embers from a previous bonfire."
