Rolex watch stolen in Bridgnorth street robbery

An 18-year-old was pushed to the ground by hooded men and his Rolex watch and mobile phone stolen.

Police are today appealing for witnesses after the man was robbed in Bridgnorth in the early hours of June 28 in the entrance to Severn Park.

The victim was waiting for a taxi when he was approached by two men.

The offenders then pushed him to the ground and took his Rolex watch and Sony Ericsson mobile phone.

The victim suffered minor injuries and was left very shaken.

He described the two men as in their late teens or early twenties and both wearing hooded tops. One was white and the other's ethnicity is unknown.

Police are asking anyone who saw somebody acting suspiciously in this area of Bridgnorth to contact them on 101, quoting incident number 0105S of June 28.
