The fires started shortly before 6.30pm last night. One caused some damage to a house in East Avenue, Donnington. It started in a wheelie bin next to the house. Firefighters used two hose reel jets to put it out.
The other fire, in Southwater Way in the town centre, involved rubbish and some undergrowth. It was extinguished in about 10 minutes.
